A Arte Outsider constitu\u00edu uma componente relevante para o desenvolvimento das artes pl\u00e1sticas no s\u00e9culo XX, al\u00e9m de ser precioso elemento da criatividade do esp\u00edrito humano.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Portuguesa de Arte Outsider, embora assentando no conceito de Art Brut lan\u00e7ado por Jean Dubuffet, prossegue uma orienta\u00e7\u00e3o mais alargada, sem abdicar da ess\u00eancia do conceito, segundo a tend\u00eancia internacional verificada nas \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas. A Associa\u00e7\u00e3o poder\u00e1 ainda apoiar a arte produzida por doentes mesmo que pr\u00f3xima da arte convencional, bem como a Arte Naive e a Arte Popular Contempor\u00e2nea, em casos especiais, quando se imponha o reconhecimento da sua autenticidade e valor art\u00edstico.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; Divulga\u00e7\u00e3o do conceito, valor e import\u00e2ncia da Arte Outsider.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; Estudo, avalia\u00e7\u00e3o e investiga\u00e7\u00e3o sobre autores, obras e colec\u00e7\u00f5es. Dado o habitual isolamento dos artistas outsider, promover a pesquisa e levantamento de autores e a inventaria\u00e7\u00e3o de obras, em todo o territ\u00f3rio nacional.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; Salvaguarda de colec\u00e7\u00f5es e obras na posse de autores, particulares ou entidades, incluindo aconselhamento quanto ao seu acondicionamento e conserva\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; Divulgar, promover, dignificar e proteger os artistas outsider e suas obras, no pa\u00eds e no estrangeiro, atrav\u00e9s de exposi\u00e7\u00f5es e confer\u00eancias, e atrav\u00e9s dos media, incluindo a internet e a publica\u00e7\u00e3o impressa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; Contribuir para a auto-estima dos autores e para o combate ao estigma das doen\u00e7as neuro-psiqui\u00e1tricas ou da exclus\u00e3o social, n\u00e3o esquecendo o papel terap\u00eautico da cria\u00e7\u00e3o art\u00edstica.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; Forma\u00e7\u00e3o de um centro de documenta\u00e7\u00e3o sobre Arte Outsider que re\u00fana livros, publica\u00e7\u00f5es peri\u00f3dicas e outros elementos de estudo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; Apoio directo \u00e0 produ\u00e7\u00e3o art\u00edstica, mediante a constitui\u00e7\u00e3o de um Ateli\u00ea de Arte Outsider, espa\u00e7o onde os autores possam criar livremente, sem constrangimentos, e onde tamb\u00e9m possam obter material de artes pl\u00e1sticas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; Interc\u00e2mbio com associa\u00e7\u00f5es cong\u00e9neres e com museus nacionais e estrangeiros que tenham voca\u00e7\u00e3o id\u00eantica.
